The company behind Truehand

Software for the people who do the work.

A master of your trade — in the palm of your hand.

We're Southern AI Solutions — a small company building the most advanced tools the trades have ever had. Everything we make ships under one name: Truehand™ — a master of your trade in your pocket, in the language you actually speak, right on your phone.

Our software

It's all called Truehand.

Twenty trades, live today — on the water, on the road, and on land. Each one its own app that knows that trade cold, all on one engine: win the work, get paid, and run it from your phone.

What it does

Everything the job actually takes.

Not a to-do list with a logo on it. This is what runs in every app, on every plan — nothing held back for a higher tier, nothing sold as an add-on.

Win the work. Get paid.
  • Estimate from a photo, a satellite view, or by tapping the screen
  • An AI that knows your trade cold — by text on every plan, or out loud, hands busy
  • Your own booking link — customers book themselves
  • An AI receptionist answers your phone and books the job — in the caller's own language, 24/7
  • Card, Venmo, Zelle & Cash App — paid the day you finish
  • Memberships and autopay that charge themselves
  • A 5-star review request goes out after every job, on its own
  • Two-way texting — every customer in the language they read
  • See what the work goes for in your area — before you quote it
  • Real appointment times, not just dates — your whole week at a glance
  • Text your whole customer list at once — win-backs, everyone, or just your members
Run it. Know your numbers.
  • What you really made on that job — after materials, after the drive
  • Send invoices and payments straight to QuickBooks
  • Hand your accountant a clean year, not a shoebox
  • Crew clock-in with GPS, and every truck live on one map
  • Before, after, and already-broken photos — time-stamped on the job
  • The shortest route, rain or shine
  • It trains your new hire — your way, in their language
  • Expenses, inventory, and a document and insurance vault
  • Scan any part or supply straight into inventory with the camera
Why it's built this way

Language should never be the reason somebody doesn't make it.

It was never just for the owner. Four people touch this business, and every one of them thinks in a language: the owner running it, the crew doing the work, the customer paying the bill, and the person still deciding whether to call you.

So every one of them gets their own. The owner runs their business in Spanish. The new hire signs on and learns the trade in Kreyòl. The customer gets their invoice and their texts in Vietnamese. And the homeowner sizing you up on your booking page reads it in whatever language they grew up speaking. Nobody waits on somebody else to translate.

Nineteen languages, front to back, on all 20 apps — not a translate button bolted on the side. That isn't a feature we added. It's the reason the whole thing got built.

Why we exist

“I'm not building this from behind a desk. I'm building it for the people doing the work — because I'm one of them.”

I've spent my life in the trades and done the work in the heat — so I know how hard you go, and how little the software world ever built with you in mind. The good tools were made for the office manager, never for the person actually doing the work. Somebody could have put real tools in the little operator's hands a long time ago. Nobody did. So I did.

Everything we make comes down to one thing: giving the people who do the work — whether you're just starting out or a seasoned pro — the best tools to be a master at your trade, get paid what you're worth, and enjoy the bit of life you have outside of it.

And I've watched too many good people get stuck on the wrong side of a language. People who could outwork anybody on the job, held back because every tool they were ever handed was in English. Everybody deserves a real shot at being successful at the thing they're good at. Language should never be what takes that away — so we built it so it never has to again.

Common questions

The short version.

What is Southern AI Solutions?
Southern AI Solutions is a software company that builds Truehand — simple, AI-powered apps for the trades. Each trade gets its own app that handles quoting, scheduling, invoicing, crew training, and same-day payment, all from a phone, in 19 languages.
What is Truehand?
Truehand is our product: one app per trade, from boat detailing to landscaping to appliance repair. Twenty are live today, and they all share the same simple, AI-powered tools — built for the person doing the work, not an office manager.
Which trades do you make apps for?
Twenty and counting — across marine (boat detailing, mechanics, hull cleaning, marine A/C, electronics), vehicle and appliance (auto detailing and service, RV, diesel, appliance repair), and land trades (landscaping, tree work, pressure washing, pest control, fencing, drywall, painting, concrete, cleaning, flooring).
What languages does the software support?
Nineteen. The owner works in the language they're most comfortable in, and the app speaks to each customer and crew member in theirs — with a built-in face-to-face translator for the job site.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $59 a month. Each app is priced the same way, so you pay for the one trade you run.
Who builds it?
Doug Alexander — nearly 30 years in the marine industry, building for the trades because he came up in them. Every app is shaped by someone who's actually done the work.
